How We Use Your Information

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you add a payment method or make a purchase, your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or CVV codes. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data. Seller payouts are processed via Stripe Connect, which requires identity verification to comply with financial regulations.

Sharing Your Information

We share information in the following circumstances:

With other users: Your username, public profile, and listing information are visible to other users. When you transact, your shipping address is shared with your counterpart.

With Stripe: Payment processing requires sharing transaction details with Stripe.

With service providers: We use Supabase for database hosting and Expo for push notifications. These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.

Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.

Business transfers: If miniboardmarket is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are retained for 7 years to comply with financial and tax regulations. You may request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us at privacy@miniboardmarket.com.
